APRIL 10, 2023, 10-11:30am – FREE EQUINE-ASSISTED MEMORY CAFE

Do you know someone who is caring for someone with early to moderate-stage dementia, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss?

Please tell them about our free Equine-Assisted Memory Café coming up on Monday, April 10th, from 10-11:30am at the BEAMING barn!

This is a great way for caregivers and their loved ones to enjoy a horse experience, getting out into nature, and socializing with others who are going through similar challenges.

Participants will groom horses, experience horses’s heartbeats and movements, make horse treats and arts and crafts, and enjoy bird watching and socializing in nature.

MAY 6, 2023, 4-6pm – DAY AT THE DERBY!

Join us for an exclusive Kentucky Derby Watch Party at BAGO Bar & Grill for our annual Day at the Derby event on Saturday, May 6th from 4-6pm!
 
Wear your Derby attire for a chance to WIN prizes! You can also win tons of raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle and other fun giveaways!
 
Each general admission ticket gets you 4 free drinks (wine, specialty beer or domestic beer), 2 free homemade soups (including Kentucky Burgoo!), delicious hors d’oeuvres and a chance to win a 55″ big-screen TV!
 
VIP tickets get a free mint julep or specialty drink, free souvenir glass, BEAMING T-shirt, free picture in our photo booth, and 10 extra entries to win the big-screen TV!

All proceeds will go toward supporting BEAMING’s equine programs to help improve the lives of children with diverse abilities, veterans, troubled and hurting teens, those living and caring for seniors with dementia, and families in crises.

MAY 6, 2023, 6:30-9:30pm – PASTA & PUNCHLINES!

Join us for a fun-filled night of food and laughter at our Pasta & Punchlines event!
 
Doors open at 6:30pm; a salad and spaghetti dinner will be served at 7pm.
 
We will then welcome comedians Rob Brackenridge
& Jack Haessly for a comedy show beginning at 8pm.
 
Please note this event will be held after our Day at the Derby event and requires a separate ticket. All proceeds will benefit the life-changing equine programs at BEAMING. Comedy show attendees must be 21.
