Free Equine-Assisted Memory Cafe

Do you know someone who is caring for a loved one with early to moderate-stage dementia, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss?
Please tell them about our free Equine-Assisted Memory Café coming up on Monday, January 8th, from 1:30-3pm at the BEAMING Barn!
This is a great way for caregivers and their loved ones to enjoy a horse experience, getting out into nature, and socializing with others who are going through similar challenges.
Participants will enjoy meeting, grooming and walking the horses and other interactive activities such as making and feeding horse treats, educational presentations, musical performances, arts and crafts projects, bird and butterfly watching, planting flowers and other outdoor and barn activities.
These hands-on horse experiences offer participants and their families an opportunity to engage in a social gathering and meet others for support.
