VETERANS SUPPORT EQUINE PROGRAMS

Our Veterans Support Equine Programs use the healing power of horses to help support the mental and physical health of veterans, while offering them an opportunity for building camaraderie with other local heroes.

Horses, Hearts & Heroes Equine Program

BEAMING is honored to provide local veterans with no-cost private equine sessions. Our goal is to provide safe and enjoyable experiences, whether it be grooming, walking or riding horses, groundwork or other fun activities at the barn. Equine-assisted services help reduce anxiety, improve strength, balance, motor skills and cognitive awareness, help with anger management, exercise memory and sequencing abilities. Participants have a range of diagnoses including but not limited to amputations, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress. This is a great way to meet and bond with fellow service members.

Please note: for veterans who prefer individual classes, we also offer one-to-one sessions on a limited basis. Please contact Center Director Katie Samuelson at 920-851-6160 or [email protected] for more info.[email protected] for more info

BEAMING is now taking reservations for an amazing bunkhouse overnight equine experience!

This camp is reserved for veterans and families that are engaged in our free Horses, Hearts & Heroes program. This requirement is so that you know the Ranch you are coming to and can enjoy your experience.

We will provide you with the basics and want to see you enjoy the peace and serenity of the Ranch to its fullest. We work with you to have equine experiences and meet any other needs, and then you can participate in self-led activities in sounds and senses. We will provide maps, telescopes and a special space you can call home for a night.

BEAMING Ranch extends this to your family and friends for an evening of enjoyment. Wake up to the sounds of horses and a pancake breakfast. Feed the horses and enjoy a ground class.

Please sign up for the Horses Hearts & Heroes Program, be introduced to the Ranch and prepare for fun !
